Mixed Technology Rework

This five-day course encompasses the skills necessary to perform rework of electronic printed circuit boards to include both through-hole and surface mount technologies. This course is appropriate for all levels of soldering skills.

Description

The comprehensive Through-Hole and SMT Rework course offered by BEST covers the necessary skills for reworking electronic printed circuit boards, including both through-hole and surface mount technologies. The course covers electrostatic discharge (ESD) and control methods, component identification, workmanship standards, and hands-on soldering and desoldering techniques using modern workstations. The curriculum aligns with IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711 standards. 

 

This 5-day course is primarily hands-on and is designed for soldering technicians with some prior soldering experience.  Upon completing the course, students receive a BEST certificate of completion that is in accordance to IPC standards.
