Description
The IPC-J-STD-001 certification is a recognized standard for electronics assembly manufacturing. It outlines precise criteria for creating high-quality soldered connections and emphasizes process control. This certification program enhances soldering skills and performance. The course covers five modules, including an overview of the standard, wires and terminals, through-hole technology, surface mount technology, and inspection methodology. Previous soldering experience is recommended, and to earn certification, participants must demonstrate lab soldering skills meeting J-STD-001 requirements and achieve a minimum score of 70% on written examinations.
